over a year of ipsy glam bag plus

hey guys! guess who waited til now to post more than a year's worth of ipsy bags*? 🙋 i won't go in depth about everything in each of these bags like i did in the past, especially since i tended to give away a lot of the items that came in the glam bag plus. there were several occasions where at least 1-2 items per box were gifted, but i don't really feel bad about it because of the $25 (+tax) price point and most bags contain items that are individually priced waaaaay more than that. i appreciate that over time they took customer feedback from surveys, because as you will see, it was a major palette overload at first. now there's more variety of products, and in the last few months or so, they've given people the opportunity to pick out one of the items (out of like 3? choices). nice! anyway, enjoy! ~Lindsay

1. sol de janeiro brazilian bum bum cream is amaaaaazing! i love it! smells great and gives a nice shimmer to the skin.

December 2018 & January 2019

1. i really enjoyed the skin 111 brightening booster serum. will i repurchase? hells no, it's $180 for this bottle! 😱
2. the ofra highlighter in rodeo drive is super pretty!
3. i've kept the hey honey good morning honey silk facial serum and murad skin perfecting lotion, but haven't gotten around to use them yet.

February & March 2019

1. i really wanted to try the son & park beauty filter cream glow, but i couldn't get over the scent...and that was the end of that. 😞
2. i really like this IT cosmetics heavenly luxe flat top buffing foundation brush. it's super dense like my other kabukis.
3. i've repurchased the pixi glow tonic because it's a really nice toner!

April & May 2019

1. i've only recently gotten around to the paris hilton ProDNA dual action cleansing gel. so far, i like it.
2. this was among the first few months that they allowed you to purchase add-ons. i think two of these were add-ons and one was a points freebie, but i've gone through several pixi black endless silky eye pen liners in the past, and i really like sunday riley good genes at nighttime, especially paired with the luna oil (which unfortunately i can't use for the next several months... pregnant and no retinoids for me... 😢)

June & July 2019

1. i really, really like the sunday riley ceo cream. the scent is awesome (citrusy) and it just overall feels nice on the skin. super hydrating, and it cuts my alternate skincare items from 3 to 1.
2. i haven't gotten around to using it yet, but i'm definitely keeping the huda beauty 3D highlighter palette in golden sands. sooo pretty!

August & September 2019

1. i've somewhat recently gotten onto the it cosmetics foundations trend. i've primarily been trying their cc cream and haven't gotten around to trying this sample of their full coverage moisturizer in light.
2. i'm hoping to use the murad AHA/BHA exfoliating cleanser sometime soon, i'm trying to work through some already open products... but this sounds really good!
3. i dew care disco kitten illuminating diamond peel off mask is super nice. i had a mini from the mini meow trio last year and i really enjoyed it. unfortunately, i have too many masks right now and gifted this to a friend.

October & November 2019

1. i've always liked receiving samples of the dr. brandt microdermabrasion scrubs, i'm super excited to have received a full size of their age defying exfoliator!
2. based on an allure review of the jolii cosmetics spektra stick in stella, i decided to keep it. i'm not huge into cream cheek products, but this one's actually really nice and applies nicely, both from the stick or by tapping it on with your fingers.
3. i don't have much to say about the november bag since i only got it a few days ago. overall, i'm not all that enthused about the items that came in it, aside from my add-ons.
