collective haul: recent bath bombs

hola! so. continuing on with the collective hauls ketchup series. bath bombs. there are a few other tidbits in here because that's how and when i took the photos, but alas, here are all of the bath bombs i've acquired (and may have already used?) recently. ~Lindsay ^.~

first thing's first, sky organics bubble boxes. and second thing, second... i'm super bummed that they decided to cancel these boxes. these are such an amazing value, but maybe there weren't enough people subscribing to keep this sustainable? anyway, i will still continue to support the brand once i dwindle down more of my existing bath bomb backlog!

next up, we've got one new to me thing from lush: dark arts jelly bomb, as well as a dragon's egg and intergalactic 

(along with peace out acne dots from sephora)

and finally, some things from the walmarts. i do not recommend these onyx bath bombs, but the hallu unicorn bath bomb..that was a good one!

also purchased: soo ae charcoal cleansing water, olay cleansing infusion in citrus ginger, milani conceal and perfect foundation in 01, maybelline matte + poreless in 118, masqueology watermelon sheet mask, and soo ae juicy mango & strawberry glow masks.

collective haul: recent graze boxes

hi guys! to make my life easier in my efforts to catch up on posting, i think i'm just going to make several "collective haul" posts for various things. ~Lindsay ^.~

so, first up is the last few months' graze boxes that came in. the snacks that are sent are based upon your preferences, factoring the quiz results and any likes/dislikes you may make while browsing their offerings. if i recall correctly, graze is automatically set up to send you a box weekly, but that's a bit too much for me. i have it to once monthly, and that's been working well for me. there's also the option to skip boxes if you don't anticipate being home that week (or other reasons) without unsubscribing.

3. pretty woman nail polish in vacay -- this is such a weird color for my skintone. just no.

6. points freebie: dirty little secret eyeshadow in sangria -- i think my points were close to expiring or something? and this caught my attention. swatching it now though, i don't think it'll be something i wear, so i'm going to pass this along. it's a very pretty pink-shifting red

1. dear sundays nail polish in No.45 -- this is a really pretty pastel blue. i'm going to pass it along though, because creams aren't really my thing.

2. hempz sweet pineapple & honey melon body lotion -- this smells sooo good! i think i'm going to pass this along though because it's too sweet for me.

3. sebamed liquid face & body wash -- this intrigues me. scent is pretty neutral, and the gel itself is a pretty shade of blue

4. ofra eyeshadow in exquisite -- this already got passed along. in the pan, it looked very similar to urban decay oil slick - black and glittery.

5. sugar cosmetics stroke of genius heavy-duty kohl in green light -- this looks really pretty, but i have so many pencils right now.... i'm going to pass this along too.

mufe #6, ptr primer, ud gloss in spl

1. makeup forever ultra hd perfector in shade 6 -- i really appreciated that this had sunscreen in it, but the coverage was really sheer. this shade seemed kind of light on me, which is pretty weird.
   repurchase? no
2. it cosmetics bye bye pores pressed poreless finish airbrush pressed powder -- i can't remember how many of these i've had now... i wasn't huge on it because of the flashback it has, but i have otherwise no recollection of other opinions about it.
   repurchase? no
3. fresh lotus youth preserve rescue mask -- i haven't actually gotten around to use this yet.
   repurchase? probably not?
4. urban decay hi-fi shine ultra cushion lipgloss in spl -- this is pretty similar to their other glosses. not super sticky, slightly balmy, i really enjoyed wearing it. the color was a very sparkly, basically clear gloss.
   repurchase? haven't been wearing glosses lately
5. peter thomas roth skin to die for no-filter mattifying primer & complexion primer -- i'm still trying to finish this primer. i've been using redness and salicylic acid primers lately, but i do enjoy it the days i use it.

quick update, upcoming plan

hi! i still exist! i've been super overwhelmed by pretty much everything between work, life, and the house. (and all. the. video. games!) more or less it's the same story as before. i just wanted to give a quick update that i took some additional vacation time for labor day weekend, and i really really hope to get a few more posts up, unlike last time. 🤞 but please also give me a break if i'm unsuccessful in this venture. as mentioned several times recently, i don't like feeling like working on this blog is "work", and me backlogging myself with the things i wanted to post here is also adding to the mental stress / ever growing to do list.

anyway, all that being said i still have a craaaapton of photos on my phone and computer that need editing and sorting, and who knows when or how all these posts will actually go up, but i need to get all of this crap off of my desk. like literally when i get in a subscription 'box' in the mail, if it's not something i'm familiar with or have the name readily available, it goes into a pile on my desk. and it sits there, unused, until i can post about it. not joking. another thing that stresses me out is clutter. and my cluttered desk, cluttered mind(set) has been kind of annoying me. so, as i go through to try finishing actually making posts about...something, i want to move all this stuff off my desk and very likely into the hands of my friends, because i have way, way too much stuff right now that i can't even use as one person.

anyway, i hope this post makes some kind of sense...it's late and i spent literally the entire day in front of the computer and my brain is just really tired. 😵
