september empties & makeup graveyard

hi guys! i've got a lot of empties to share this month! trying to use stuff up before the move! ~Lindsay

  1. simple cleansing wipes
  2. member's mark makeup remover wipes
  3. tree hut sugar scrub in passion fruit and guava
  4. the body shop tea tree oil
  5. bioderma sebium mini
  6. loreal voluminous lash paradise mascara in black
  7. pixi beauty endless silky liner in black
  8. urban decay all nighter setting spray mini
  9. urban decay eyeliner in underground -- lookit that lil bitty nub!
  10. urban decay vice liquid lipstick mini in amulet
  11. maybelline baby skin primer
  12. maybelline fit me matte+poreless foundation in 120
  13. rimmel london stay matte powder in transluscent
  14. kat von d tattoo liner in trooper
  15. yes to tomatoes detoxifying charcoal mud mask
  16. jergens bb body cream in light to medium
  17. ion extreme moisture creme -- not only did they repackage this product, but the scent in it is too perfumy floral something. i don't really like it. as a deep conditioner, it's still great, but i liked the original better.
  18. loreal micellar water for normal to oily skin -- while i think this product worked and did the job, as far as drugstores i think i still prefer the red garnier one.
    repurchase? nah
  19. formula 10.0.6 best face forward cleanser -- this was an ok cleanser. it made its way into my travel bag because i didn't like it all that much. it was a sort of thin cleanser that didn't foam as much as it sounded like it should have. i otherwise didn't have any issues with it, and the scent was pleasant.
    repurchase? no
  20. candles by victoria tiffany d 2.0 candle -- ugh i'm sad that this is gone, but it was close to the end and i wanted to burn it up and have one less candle for the move. i love this one. it's such a great blend of warmer fragrances. i still like the original tiffany d candle, which is like cotton candy sweet. both are yummm!
    repurchase? eventually!
  21. michael todd charcoal detox gel cleanser -- this took me forever to use up. mostly because it's a super thick consistency. i have like a face scrubber pad that i love from earth therapeutics that i would use with this. anyway, i think this was too much for my skin, because i'd always find a zit or two within a day or two of using this. to use it up, i forced myself to use it twice a week.
  22. da bomb candy bath bomb -- like their other one that i tried, this wasn't anything special. it didn't smell like cotton candy to me, but it wasn't unpleasant. the surprise inside was the little candy shaped eraser pictured.
    repurchase? nah
  23. treat marshmallow cream lip balm -- this is such a good deal for a lip balm. it's massive, it's kind of expensive (like $10?), but it lasts! i got this last christmas and it lasted me almost 9 months of twice daily use. that's crazy!
    repurchase? already did!
  24. verb ghost oil -- this lil thing took forever and a day to use up! if you applied too much, you'd be an oily mess. you'd have to dispense the perfect amount or that's it. otherwise, this was a pretty decent product, helped keep my bedhead at bay. but it's not that life changing or necessary that i need to buy more.
    repurchase? nah
  25. bobbi brown eye makeup remover -- i got this in a 500 point sephora set. while this is a pretty good eye makeup remover, i think i'll stick with cheaper alternatives.
    repurchase? nah
  26. bobbi brown hydrating eye cream -- this came in the above mentioned 500 point sephora set. this product was one of two reasons why i cashed in my points. i heard so many great things about this eye cream, and when i got it, i wasn't impressed. it had a weird scent and it was only ok for me. it didn't do anything special for me. but at the very least i was glad that i didn't buy a whole jar of this to find that out.
    repurchase? nah
makeup graveyard: i ended up going through my polish stash to clean it out of colors i don't want and will likely never ever use. these unfortunately had some issue or another with them. the pink gel coat was starting to get goopy but i love that stuff and already got a replacement. as far as polishes going off, that fingerpaints one is supposed to be blue. that was blue raspberry taffy, now it's grey bleh. and that del sol polish.. it was a metallic sky blue that changed to metallic lime green, now it's a mix of both. i think it's lived a good life, i bought it 20 years ago on my first cruise! 😳 and as much as i didn't want to part with it, i loved tarte's skinny smolderEyes pencils, particularly this one in onyx. but it's dried up and separating from the wood, and it needs to go.
