erin condren hourly life planner - my september

hi guys! it's october, and you know what that means? we're closing on our house this month!!!!!!! omg cannot wait! otherwise, i don't really have a whole lot else to say aside from it was a busy month! ~Lindsay
monthly calendar spread: this month, my spread is from TheCoffeeMonsterzCo. sooo pretty!
week 1: so, fun fact, we did some stuff for the client between the second and third quarter.. the upgrades and go live.. anyway, my manager recognized my coworker and i, and we got bonuses!
week 2: soo.. i suck at words, but less than 48 hours after getting my tires rotated, i got a screw in my tire, which was annoying and sucked, and i most likely got it from parking in front of our house. in other news, it was our 10 year high school reunion at a local bowling alley, which was cool. i didn't end up taking many pictures there because it was kind of dark and stuff, but here's a pic S took of T and I circa 10.3 years ago in our favorite english teacher's class, probably doing some other class's homework that was due that day... lol!
week 3: it took a couple days, but i located the screw. went to get my tire patched and they said that this is considered "road hazard" whatever that means, and they needed to replace the tire. thankfully where i bought it, road hazard protection was part of the installation package, so i only ended up paying for them to install a new tire. but it's still pretty annoying that these tires are just over a year old...
week 4: so. PBC sale. i spent an absurd amount of money on stickers alone...in one shot. (thankfully the charges made it onto the next billing cycle! w00t!) then i also bought christmas presents on top of that. then, T and I went to ulta because the co-founder of it cosmetics, jamie kern lima, was in town!!!! then i went to a not gender reveal party.. the way the invite was written i thought it was, but this was a regular shower and they don't want to know the gender until it comes out and had us take a poll of what we thought it may be! i also really liked the idea of using books as the gift's 'card', writing a note on the inside cover to the baby.
week 5: we both got paid on friday and spent basically all our paychecks on appliances. there was a snafu with the refrigerator we ordered back during the memorial day sale (end of May), and basically the delivery company couldn't hold onto it long enough for us to close on the house. so they ended up cancelling the delivery and we had to cancel the order. long story short, we were able to use my corporate discounts to reorder the same fridge for a grand total (taxes and delivery) of less than the sale price (pre-tax and delivery) that we originally paid! 😲 as well as ordering the washer, dryer, and pedestals i wanted (paid extra for that gray! who wants white?), also for less than the sales prices we've seen. so that was pretty cool! adulting.
notes page: and finally, i've used the notes page before the month was over! i started writing out a list of stuff we need to do this month with the house and the move. i may be filling in a few more items as i think of them, but that's that.
