MiscellanyBoulevard -- i love these laney character stickers! so cute. i will definitely shop again, because the rainbow haired character on the sample sheet...yes. and she included a sampler from PookieBearCuties.

AnxietyAids - i spread these out pretty poorly, but that sheet under the succulents is another sheet of succulents. i ordered two.

MyNewestAddiction - after seeing some of the sheets in the grab bag, i decided that i liked the happy planner full boxes since they are longer. plus for some reason she made different designs for the happy planner anti-valentines sheet vs. the vertical..? and i liked this one better.

RiverStreetStickers - i decided to go minimal for mardi gras since my birthday is ash wednesday this year, and my birthday 'kit' basically took over the rest of the spread..

january hits & misses

hi guys! another late post! anyway, here are my january favorites and oh no's! ~Lin-chan ^.~

favorites/like it's:

1. sooo. super random... but... papa johns wisconsin cheese stuffed cheese sticks. just try them. please. sooo good.
2. member's mark makeup remover wipes -- these are actually really good. they have a light but pleasant scent, and the cloths are really thick. they're not amazing for eye makeup, but they do take it off pretty well in a pinch.
3. kenra platinum blow-dry spray -- this is a really nice blow dry spray. my hair feels really nice when i spray this into wet hair before drying. i did try this on dry hair and the scent is pretty overwhelming. like it fades with blow drying, but if the hair's already dry..the scent will be there all day and then some. like for realz. but anyway, this stuff is good. try it.

undecided/meh:

1. it cosmetics bye bye pores -- i really like the texture of this powder, it kept me matte, and it could be used in everyday life. but it has awful flashback and is slightly noticeable on a regular basis, so no thanks.
2. bite beauty agave lip balm -- this has the worst packaging ever. every time i go to apply it, it twists back down in the tube ....... why?? it's bad enough that i have to use a bit more pressure because it doesn't glide on. anyway, as far as the product itself, i'm unsure about because i feel like it's chapping my lips after a few hours. i need to test it further, but if that's the case, it's pretty sad.
3. pur~lisse blue lotus seed mud mask + exfoliant -- this is a very nice mask, dries down pretty fast and if you add a bit of water, you can massage it in and scrub off. the only problem is that my skin doesn't agree with this product and it breaks me out... super sad.

misses:

1. 'toothbrush' style face brush -- this brush didn't have a brand name, but it came with an amazon order..on a listing for some tinkle razors. anyway, this brush is really bad. the bristles are a bit rough and absorb product. i also didn't feel like the handle or neck of this brush is very strong.. i had to make a very conscious effort to make sure this thing didn't snap while using it.
2. glamglow volcasmic matte moisturizer -- this stuff is weird. it's kinda got the texture of a face primer. anyway, i put it on over night and i was a super oily greasy mess by morning--which never happens--so needless to say, that is not mattifying, and it needs to go.

17. bioderma sebium -- i enjoyed using this product, but i didn't really feel any differently when using this one relative to the sensibio, and it took me a while to get used to the scent this has. from what i remember, sensibio has no scent.

18. cetaphil gentle skin cleanser -- this was a nice face wash, and my skin felt clean after using it, but it was really thin
    repurchase? nah
19. skinfix ultra rich body butter -- this is a really thick cream. i'm not a huge fan of how thick it is and how it spread, but i did appreciate that it was unscented.
    repurchase? nah
20. mor hand & body lotion in candied vanilla -- while i really enjoyed this lotion, the scent was really really sweet. like if i was in elementary or middle school still...perfect! but otherwise, nah i'll pass. i am interested in potentially trying other scents from this brand though.
    repurchase? nah
21. skininc pure revival peel -- got about two or three uses out of this, and it took me forever to use it because it got lost in a cabinet........ anyway, while i liked this and thought it was great at exfoliating my face, i wasn't huge on the formula or application i guess? it's very thin and is kind of weird as you massage it into your face.
    repurchase? nah
22. biorepublic pomegranate crush sheet mask -- this mask was pretty good, and felt nice. not sure if it really illuminated my skin per se, but i enjoyed it.
    repurchase? nah
23. pur-lisse blue lotus + seaweed sheet mask -- i was reluctant to use this, considering the clay mask i got in my january ipsy bag broke me out....and this did not help my cause either. lol. no thanks.
    repurchase? no
24. pur-lisse blue lotus + white tea sheet mask -- this mask was ok. i didn't really feel like it did anything..
    repurchase? nah
25. 7 wonders caribbean coconut calming mask -- this mask fit kind of weird on the face, not sure if it was because the slits weren't in good places or what. i didn't feel like this mask did much, and it was kind of strange that it dried onto my skin by the time i needed to take it off
    repurchase? nah
26. yesto acne fighting paper mask -- this smelled weird, but the scent faded after a bit. my skin felt tingly during and after until the serum was fully absorbed. otherwise, i'm not sure about the acne fighting claim, but i'm interested in picking up a couple more to try them consistently and see what happens.
    repurchase? undecided
27. living proof perfect hair day -- this was an ok product. it had your typical living proof salon/chemical-ish scent to it, but i was kind of meh about it, it didn't really feel like it did much.
    repurchase? nah
28. garnier whole blends honey treasures repairing mask -- i really liked the scent of this and thought that it worked pretty well.
    repurchase? maybe
29. joico k-pak color therapy mask -- this has a fairly nice scent that doesn't linger and is super thick and moisturizing.
    repurchase? maybe
30. marc anthony nourishing argan oil conditioning treatment -- i was not really a fan of the scent of this. it made my hair feel a bit weird and sticky kind of...after using it.
    repurcahse? no
31. ouai treatment masque -- i only got like 2 uses out of this tube because it was super thin and watery. it had a really strong perfumey scent, and i'm not sure that it did much.
    repurchase? no
32. makeup graveyard - lippies. went through my stash to partially clean it out, and to make sure stuff was still good... i'm saddened to say that these either smell off, or look like they have legit lipstick mold, which sucks but it happens..and i have way more lip things than i actually even wear.... so i'm ok with it.

planner sticker haul - january

hola! had to change that.. "hi guys!" i noticed that i had that for like 10? consecutive posts. bleh! anyway, here's this month's sticker purchases. some of these are from the end of last month, but didn't arrive in time for me to include then. i went a bit crazy and there's still planner boss collective sale purchases that haven't arrived yet. i think i'll make those in a post of their own. ~Lin-chan ^.~

TheCoffeeMonsterzCO: (first) boxing day sale! i got a scratch card! had to get a ton of emotis, my first set of taters, the chinese new year sheet, painted girls, and the valentines set. (second) helen didn't participate in the PBC sale this time, but during the sale she was offering an exclusive sampler. so i went ahead and ordered with my scratchoff code and redeemed a full bean card, so lots of samples!

Once More with Love: birthday sale! i obviously went a little crazy. all of her munchkins are belong to me! (click if you don't get the reference...)

Two Nine Sticker Co (formerly That's the Plan): april monthly kit, frosty deco boxes & washi sheets (to go with the freebies i got last month!)
PlannerStudio: bought a few mi'me sheets plus a ton of freebies for being patient with the color change! (she's still in transition for making each sheet personalized skintones). these are so freakin cute, and i'm waiting for her to be ready to ship again before ordering a ton more! it's hard to tell with my picture, but the smaller ones are a bit larger than baseball card.

My Newest Addiction: she had grab bags for a really great price, so i bought two and the appointment sheet for $2 tuesday.
Oh Hello Stationary: created my own matte blobby 'kit' (since they didn't offer one for some reason..) but that's ok, because i didn't need all the sheets in the full kit. also got the valentines sheet, more migraine stickers, and blobby goes to work.

be a bombshell cosmetics blushes in sweet cheeks -- i had to get two because they're super cheap now and my favorite, according to my ipsy post, these used to be $16, but i got these for $6 each. wut?!
makeup geek: soft dome brush, baby face eyeshadow -- hitting major pan on this eyeshadow, and i decided to pick up another brush because it's awesome.

erin condren hourly life planner - my january

hi guys! i'm a week late, but give me a break because the end of the month was mid-week and last weekend was kind of busy... and i'll try to get up all of my end of the month posts today, but i need some time to finish working on them. ~Lin-chan ^.~

monthly calendar spread: the usual Two Nine Sticker Co (formerly That's the Plan) monthly spread, salvaged some chinese new year washi from my Wonton in a Million package, and put one week of the penny challenge stickers onto here since they didn't look right with my Chinese New Year spread.

week 3: can we see the excitement for the PBC sale? just a lil. ..and i tried getting my tires rotated but they said it was too soon (they do it after 6k miles, and i was only at 3k lol!), so they checked the pressure and reset my sensors, since at least one was low and set off my sensor..

week 4: i had a pretty bad week with my project. more like people on my project but that's a story for another day. my project itself has been a bit slow because of another upcoming go live milestone, so everyone's been focused on that with bug fixes and not so much new features.

notes page: didn't do anything with this page aside from putting a bit of the chinese new year washi from WontonInAMillion, but that's on week 4's spread too, so i didn't feel the need to photograph it. february quote: love is all around us
