impressions & notd: ulta sunset bronze

hi guys! as part of my black friday haul, i got a mini of ulta's salon formula nail polish in sunset bronze. and i thought it was teh pretty so yeah. [my part 2 black friday/cyber monday post is still in the works because i haven't gotten everything yet or it's at the in-laws' and i have a final today. so yeah.....]  ~Lin-chan ^.~

i used 2 coats sunset bronze with formula x the system.

just putting it out there: i'm not sure if it's just this bottle or not but this polish smells really weird. like not a normal nail polish scent..not that you should be sniffing nail polish! but it smells like a nasty plasticy blehhhhh! maybe i should be concerned that it's made in china..??? i'm not sure. i have a few other ulta polishes and they don't smell weird, but they are old-ish, with the previous packaging style. so maybe they changed the formula too? i dunno. on another note though, this color is gorgeous. it's a pinky-red metallic shade, i wouldn't really call it sunset--it's too pink. it dried really fast. like i painted my whole hand and went for the second coat right after. and that was pretty awesome.

i give it a 3/5.. the minus 2 is for the awful smell.
