review: em waterliner in ro's gold & the great cover up

hi guys! today i [finally] bring you my review of em michelle phan's waterliner in ro's gold and the great cover up in light neutral/cool. this post's been sitting in the queue for several months now, and i'm finally getting around to finishing it. >.< anyway, here ya go! ~Lin-chan ^.~

waterliner: i only used this on the waterline because of the nature of the color.
pros
  • it fares pretty well in the waterline, lasts several hours, but not all day.
  • it's a pretteh color. >w<
  • comes with a sharpener (pull off by the black spongy part)

cons
  • now, i'm not sure if this one's a dud or not, but when i first opened this pencil, the entire product came out. it wasn't [and still won't..] properly seated into its place. luckily i caught it before it fell to the floor and was able to get it to go back in, but i've been more careful with it because i'm never sure if it's seated in there correctly or not......
  • i'm not sure if it's just my skintone, but you can't really tell that it's a special color (like rose gold) on my waterline. actually, it almost looks like my waterline coloring as it is...
the verdictpass on the rose gold shade and get rimmel scandalEyes liner in nude--for the price. other shades of her waterliner might be better, but i only have this one.

concealer:
pros
  • this shade, while orangy in my swatch, isn't too bad on my face. it covers up blemishes very well and it blends out nicely when applied over foundation (i typically use foundation brushes for both foundation and blending concealer).
  • when used alone topped with powder, it's pretty good but i think it sheers out a little more this way and doesn't cover quite as well or thickly.. if that even makes sense.. i think this concealer blends and covers a little better when using foundation and a brush than just using it bare-faced (or primed) and setting it with powder.

cons
  • not sure if this is necessarily a con or not, but the applicator is like a slanted lip gloss applicator. it's kinda nice, but i (along with many others) am not going to apply it directly from the tube to my face. nope. i've been dispensing it onto my finger and dabbing it where needed.
  • the product is a little thick, and after a few uses i had to put a tube squeezer on there to help keep the pressure better when i dispensed it.
the verdictthe concealer is pretty good, but i don't feel like it's necessarily something to rush out and buy. there are other concealers out there that are fairly equivalent in every aspect that are more easily obtainable.

review: aveeno positively radiant targeted tone corrector (influenstervoxbox)

hi guys! i signed up for an influenster account* around the end of june and got my first review box (free!) less than two weeks later! yay! i was sent a full-size tube of aveeno's positively radiant targeted tone corrector (ret. ~$14.99 for 1.1oz). #RadiantWithAveeno ~Lindsay-chan ^.~

packaging:
i think it's really funny how different the tube looks in relation to how it's depicted on the box. i do like how it's nice and portable and easy to dispense from. the opening is just flat..not really much to say about it... after a while, i put a tube squeezer onto it to ensure i get every drop.

product & use:
this product is white & has a light floral-ish fragrance. texturally, it is like a light moisturizer. used to gradually fade dark spots or discoloration on the skin.

directions:
apply to desired area AM & PM before moisturizer. use sunscreen when using this product because it contains retinol (among other things) which may increase sun sensitivity.

my experience:
i primarily used this on my chest and shoulders. in middle school through high school i had really bad acne on my face, back, chest, and shoulders; and as a result i have a lot of acne scarring in those areas [and i'm a picker!]. since it's kinda hard for me to get these kinds of products onto my back, i didn't bother trying for this review. most of my scars have faded back to something close to my skintone, but it's possible that it's because i used both clinique dark spot correctors in original & clinical several years ago when they first came out. aka: my skin wasn't too bad before using this product.

i did not take any pictures of my skin for the two weeks i was using this product, but i think that this product has helped. when we went on vacation at the end of may/beginning of june i got a really weird shaped sunburn on my shoulder..just one shoulder..? >.> anyway i feel like this product helped even-out the sunburned area faster than it would have on its own. i also think that some of my newer acne scarring (post-clinique products) has faded a little too; they're less red now and closer to my skintone.

at the end of the two weeks, just applying it to my shoulders and chest twice daily, i have used about half of the tube. i have combo/oily skin and occasional allergies that i regulary take zyrtec for--i had no issues with skin irritation or allergic reactions. and the scent is light and unoffensive--so no migraines!

the verdict:
i do think that this is something worth picking up if this is something you're interested in. or if you are interested in investing in a high-end tone corrector, i think this is a comparable product at a more affordable price tag that's worth trying first.

disclosure:
I WAS NOT COMPENSATED FOR THIS POST, HOWEVER I DID RECEIVE A SAMPLE FOR MY REVIEW. ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN AND NOT INFLUENCED IN ANY WAY.

july 2014 ipsy bag

hi guys, so july's IPSY BAG* (theme: sensationally sunkissed) has arrived! ~Lin-chan ^.~

here's my impressions:
  1. bare minerals 5-in-1 bb advanced performance cream eyeshadow in divine wine (.03oz--mini, ret. $18 for .1oz [$5.40]) -- yay bb eyeshadow! now we need bb body wash! anyway. this color looks like brown to me... but compared to their other shades (as it was shown on the card it was attached to), it's kinda purple toned...not really... would i call this shade "wine"? most certainly not. anyway more about how it actually performs, first impression, it dries matte--if that's your thing, but it sets really fast, so i don't feel like it'll be good enough to use as a base. used alone, it'd probably be ok, but this is too dark for my taste to use alone.
    • likelihood to repurchase: undecided/maybe?
    • update: on my skintone, if applied to the lids and blend it out, it actually looks kinda nice. it sheers out a bit and just looks like an effortless darkish brown one-shadow look. i'm not sure if i picked up some additional shimmer from my face somehow or if it actually has shimmer in it.. on my swatches yesterday, the first looked shimmery and the second was matte...but on my eyes, it's shimmery. i'm really baffled by this. i'll have to keep using it and update yall later.
  2. be-fine daily moisturizer with spf 15 (1.5oz--deluxe, ret. $24 for 1.7oz [$21.18]) -- this is a white, light-textured moisturizer (similar consistency to clinique's ddm gel), but it reeks of coppertone sunblock to me. i'm sorry but that is not goin on mah face. i'm cool with most sunscreen scents, i actually rather that they don't smell like sunscreen, but if it straight up smells like coppertone kids--in the pink bottle--i ain't usin it.
    • likelihood to repurchase: no
    • will give this away
  3. hang ten dark tanning oil (1oz--mini, ret. $11.99 for 8oz [$1.50]) -- i'm getting pretty annoyed with this beauty quiz thing. like what the eff. i do not want tanning stuff. period. why is there a quiz if they don't take our responses into account? and for the people who would like to know a *little* more about it, the scent is hard to describe. like it's not your usual coconutty beachy scent but idk... >.<
    • likelihood to repurchase: NO!
    • will give this away
  4. pixi tinted brilliance balm in unique pink (1.8g--mini, ret. $14 for 2.83g [$8.90]) -- this is actually really nice. i've been iffy about their products but i really like this one. it has a minty scent and feels very emollient and nice. this is supposed to be one of those pH custom color shades and compared to others i've tried this one is is more muted, versus a stark pink; it looks like a sheer peachy shade on me.
    • likelihood to repurchase: maybe
  5. wHet nail polish in facetious (10mL--full size, ret. $15) -- this is so pretty! surprisingly, i don't already have this shade of blue. it's a kind of sheer polish, it took 3 coats for my swatch. this is what i imagine barry m jelly polishes to be, since i haven't tried them yet.
    • likelihood to repurchase: maybe for other colors
  6. pink ipsy bag -- so cute! i love the rounded edges, it kinda reminds me of ravioli or something, lol!

notd: taliajoy's first angelversary mint mani

hi guys! i painted my nails today for talia's first angel[anni]versary. if you're confused about why i did this or missed out last year, here's a link to a recent angels for talia blog post, or you can check out my mani post from last year.

this time, i used maybelline green with envy and i sponged on teal beam in a gradient (here's the sponges i used). i also used formula x for sephora the system and sally hansen insta-dry topcoat. i applied the insta-dry after the polish layers, before placing the decals. then i used 2 coats of the formula x topcoat after the decals. ~Lin-chan ^.~

dawn of the planet of the apes!

hey guys! last year, i got to spend two grueling weeks in the sun in winter-wear working on a planet of the apes movie. and we're talking nola summer heat and humidity, here! but it was so awesome..aside from looking and feeling suuuuper grungy everyday.. if you guys go see it, i am in the little human colony town thing and i'm a captured human. i might not be very noticeable since it was a cattle call... ~Lin-chan ^.~

review: urban decay perversion mascara

hi guys! i've got my review for urban decay's new perversion mascara for ya! i received this sample via twitter, whenever it was they said you could tweet for one.... anyway, i got it last weekend because i had them mail it to my mom's instead of my place. >.<

impressions:
  • the first couple times i used this mascara, i was skeptical. it seemed kinda like any other mascara to me, except maybe a little blacker..?
  • i do love how dark black it is, but most other mascaras fare well enough in that department in my opinion.
  • it does give a bit of length to my lashes and a little volume, but the volume's almost negligible. this mascara can be built up for a spidery lashes effect--if desired. again, i feel like there are select drug store mascaras that make my lashes look comparable at an obviously lower price.
  • relative to most other mascaras i've tried, i do feel that my lashes are much softer and more flexible to the touch, verses feeling crunchy and hard.
  • i typically don't use a lash curler--and i didn't for the photos below--and it gave a teeny bit of curl to them.
  • i didn't have any flaking with this mascara, even after 12 hours!
  • removal is just like any other non-waterproof mascara
  • application technique: i found that this mascara worked best when coating one eye, moving to the other to let the first dry, then returning to the first eye, and then the second again.

the verdict:
while i do like this mascara, i'm not sure how i feel about purchasing the full size for $22 when it comes out next week. [plus i have a crapton of unopened mascara still as it is...but that's another story!] mascaras with comparable effects that i can think of are almay get up and grow and maybelline falsies flared.

~Lindsay-chan ^.~

top photos: bare lashes on the left, 2 coats on top and bottom lashes for the rest.

what else i'm wearing:
  • too faced original primed & poreless primer
  • wet n wild fergie bb cream in light
  • benefit fake up concealer in light, hello flawless powder in me vain? champagne
  • tarte bronzer in park avenue princess
  • loreal invisible lift blur blushes in soft peach & soft pink (i applied peach first but wanted to darken it a tad, so i layered pink on top.)
  • elf essential eye primer
  • milani bella gel powder eyeshadows in bella sand, bella gold, bella espresso
  • nyx jumbo eye pencil in black bean (upper and lower waterlines)
  • ulta smokey eyes automatic liner in black plum
  • jesse's girl liquid liner
  • nyx butter gloss in apple strudel

this week's hauls (july 2014)

hi guys! i bought some schtuff this week... i was on a quest for the loreal visible lift cream blushes--which feel pretty amazing, nothing like any other cream blush i've tried--and the new milani bella eyes gel eyeshadows, which feel like normal eyeshadows? idk how the gel part comes in... i'd also been eyeing the new maybelline color show veils polishes..so i got the two polishes that the lady on the display is wearing. and i think that'll be my mint mani for taliajoy this year. so stay tuned for it as next week's notd (if i have time..). ~Lin-chan ^.~

taupe, toasted (swatched dry), apricot
bella sand, bella gold, bella espresso (swatched dry); soft peach, soft pink
  • bbb: loreal invisible lift blur blush in soft pink, maybelline polishes in green with envy & teal beam
    • got jusssst a lil too much there for the soft pink swatch >.<
  • ulta: loreal invisible lift blur blush in soft peach, nyx blush in apricot
  • walmart: elf eyeshadow in toasted, rimmel liner in taupe
  • walgreens: milani bella eyes gel powder eyeshadows in bella sand, bella gold, and bella espresso
    • i'm not sure why they call them gel powder...they feel like normal eyeshadows to me......
naturebox: this time, i picked out my snacks, and i like most of them. i got mighty mix, pear praline crunch, mango almond bites, blueberry almond bites (same as last time), and pistachio power clusters.

spring 2014 favorites

it's that time again~! my quarterly favorites post! ~Lin-chan ^.~

ps, i think i'll start doing regrets posts. i don't remember exactly what i bought when and what i gave away recently, so i'll have one for ya starting next quarter!

brazilian tan, mudslide, turn on the teal, milani eye tech; kitten & walking on eggshells trio (swatched dry)
  1. revlon lipstick in brazilian tan -- it's kinda sad at how much i like this lipstick. it's a great nude for me but it's limited edition for this past summer collection. booooo. a comparable permanent shade is revlon's honey bare, but it's not as perfect as brazilian tan. (i went and gots myself 2 backups!)
  2. buxom lip cream in mudslide -- i got this lil baby sample from a sephora order and i didn't think i'd love it as much as i do. like, i do like buxom glosses, but this was a new one, a new kind..but i was like: it's free, just add it to the cart. and now, it's featured here in my favorites!
  3. milani eye tech extreme liquid liner -- to be honest, i didn't like this liner at first. i didn't like how stiff the tip was and it can't flex what-so-ever. but it's interesting because that's what i like about this liner. for my so-called 'stamping liner method'--where you hold the applicator horizontally and kind of stamp it along-- it works great. by not being flexible it ensures a more even application without frays or brush marks. it's been more awesome than i thought.
  4. maybelline master drama chromatics eyeliner pencil in turn on the teal -- i love this liner. not only is the color great and (for even me) wearable, but the formulation is amazing and it really does stay put, doesn't fade, doesn't get patchy. it's freaking amazing. i wish they sold a black when they released these because i'm not sure if the retractable ones are the same quality or not.
  5. eyeshadow combo: stila kitten & crease shade from wet n wild walking on eggshells trio -- a few years ago, i got one of the sephora favorites boxes and it had a kitten shadow in it. i depotted it whenever i got my unii and z palettes and totally forgot about it. i recently pulled it out and thought it was such a great shade, a pretty champagne, but i didn't want to wear it by itself since it's kind of close to my skintone and i wanted some definition in the crease. so i started using the crease shade from the walking on eggshells trio and it's been a great combo!
  6. elf studio prism eyeshadow palette in naked: while we were on the cruise i used this pretty much every day. i even brought the naked3 palette with me and i found that i kept using the elf one instead!

swatched dry

  1. tone soothing body wash (oatmeal & shea) -- this is such a good and inexpensive body wash. it's like $3.50 at walmart, and it has a very light and unoffensive scent. it feels great. i'm sad that i didn't try them sooner.
  2. jergens bb body for light skintones -- i first got this in my $5 target box and i was quite skeptical at the time. but i really do like it a lot. i went and bought this full size tube already. the scent is also light and unoffensive, it goes on nice and smoothly, and gives the skin a light and healthy glow. be careful with this lotion thought, it can transfer to your clothes if you don't let it finish absorbing.

2014 spring empties

its spring empties time!!! ~Lin-chan ^.~

april
  • simple liquid eye makeup remover -- this is my second bottle, i believe. i really enjoy this remover as it doesn't burn my eyes. it does take a little bit to get everything off, but i'd rather that than irritation.
    repurchase? yes -- already have!
  • simple cleansing facial wipes
  • body shop blueberry body scrub -- this was a good scrub while it lasted (about 5 uses), but it's not what i'm looking for in a body scrub because it's too gentle. i typically like more abrasive scrubs, but it was worth a try. it has a gel-like consistency with raspberry seeds (and maybe a few other things..?) as the scrubbing agent.
    repurchase? no
  • folicure shampoo -- i bought these over a year ago to help with growing my hair out. and if i repurchase any, it'll probably be for the same reason: if i chop my hair again. i still have another liter left to use, but i think i'll use it in my routine as my "clarifying" shampoo until it's gone.
    repurchase? not for now
  • psssssst dry shampoo -- i have a few other dry shampoos open to use for now, but i did enjoy this one. i liked how fresh the scent was and it blended in pretty well (it's white).
repurchase? maybe, but not for now
  • maybelline baby skin primer -- while i like this type of primer, i'm probably going to pass on repurchasing this because i like the too faced primed and poreless (original) primer more...even though this primer is probably more cost effective..but whatever.........
    repurchase? no
april (continued.)
  • mystic divine hair mask -- while i really like their treatment oil, this mask is ok. for the price, i'd rather buy the ion hair mask or a pantene one
    repurchase? no
  • naturebox pop sugar must have mix -- this came in my april must have box and i must have finished this thing within 20 minutes. it was teh nomz.
repurchase? if i could, i would, but this mix is exclusive. major sadface!
  • clinique clarifying lotion 3 -- i know that using alcohol-based toners isn't great for your skin, but this one has been working well for me for a long time.
    repurchase? yes
  • sephora mineral loose powder foundation in light -- they don't actually make this anymore. i bought it a few years ago because it was on clearance and i needed a few more dollars to get free shipping. somewhat recently, i finally decided to open it and use it and now it's gone!
    repurchase? no
  • benefit 15-hour primer stick mini -- while i felt like this was an effective primer, i hated the application. like i love how it glides so nice and smoothly across my face from the tube, but obviously you can't fully cover your face this way, you need to blend it in. this is where the fun ends. i hated blending this primer in with my hands. basically i felt like i was tugging my skin, similar to a slightly moistened version of you rubbing dry skin together. it almost hurt. it was awful. now, blending it in with a synthetic brush was no problem; it went smoothly because it wasn't skin-on-skin contact.
    repurchase? no
  • [not pictured] cvs deep cleansing shampoo -- i bought this to use as my clarifying shampoo while i was growing my hair out, but i probably won't get another until i use up this last liter of folicure
    repurchase? not for now
  • [not pictured] biore blemish fighting ice cleanser -- this cleanser feels "icy" whenever i used it with my clarisonic, otherwise not so much. I really did enjoy this cleanser and had no problems with it
    repurchase? not for now
  • [not pictured] beauty secrets pure acetone -- i like getting acetone from sally's because they sell them in various sizes for reasonable prices
    repurchase? of course

may
  • the body shop satsuma body wash -- omg this scent is so strong. i like the scent but it made our whole apartment smell of it whenever i used it. (our apt is about 600sqft or so)
repurchase? probably not, maybe for other scents
  • caress body wash in endless kiss (vanilla & sandalwood) -- this is a great, affordable body wash line. this scent is just right for me, not terribly strong and lightly woodsy.
repurchase? yes, but not just yet
  • beauty blender blender cleanser liquid -- i'm sooo freaking excited that i finished this guy up. i bought it because it's blender cleanser for your beauty blender [sponge]. but no. it did not work all that well. this stuff worked pretty well with my brushes, but the sponge, hahahaha, i use dr. bronner's. it worked better on brushes with powder and not cream in them.
repurchase? no for the liquid, yes for the solid
  • cvs baby shampoo -- the original intent with this was for cleaning my makeup brushes and the beauty blender. now, it was ok at cleaning both but not super great when liquid or cream products were concerned. after i started using dr. bronner's i stopped using it. so i finally decided that i'd use up the remainder of the bottle on my hair to get rid of it.
    repurchase? not anytime soon
  • eos vanilla lip balm -- i really enjoyed this lip balm, the only problem is that i haven't seen it in stores. i bought this one off amazon
    repurchase? no
  • biore acne clearing scrub -- i didn't particularly like this scrub because it has a thick gel-like consistency and it was kinda annoying to wash off if you apply too much.... >.> thankfully, i didn't have any problems or irritation with this product
    repurchase? no
  • bbw mini lemon mint leaf candle -- this is my version of a clean scent. i love the subtleness of both the lemon and the mint, it's a great kitchen-clean type smell.
    repurchase? yes
may (cont.)
  • tarte maracuja c-brighter eye cream mini -- i'd been eyeing this eye cream for ages and when i was able to get my hands on the $10 duo with the oil, i had to have it. i really enjoyed this eye cream. it was great at getting rid of my dryness and helped minimize the appearance of fine-line creases in my makeup. this little pot lasted me about 2 months. the duo might still be available in sephora stores in the impulse section, but it's no longer available online.
    repurchase? yes! already have
  • simple oil-balancing cleansing wipes -- i finally figured out why this scent is familiar. beauty blender cleanser. exactly.
  • bbw warm vanilla sugar shower gel mini -- while i really like bbw shower gels, drugstore ones (like tone and caress) are so much cheaper.
    repurchase? probably not
  • yaby foundation in buff -- got this in my january ipsy bag. while i liked the color-match, look and feel of this foundation, i'm probably not going to repurchase this because i'd have to order it. i feel like there are more easily accessible and equivalent foundations at the drugstore as it is.
    repurchase? nah
  • clinique acne solutions spot healing gel -- this is discontinued but this was my favorite for clearing up my acne. i'm a picker and this definitely helped expedite the healing on any spots that i would agitate. >.> they made a "clinical" version to replace this one, and i've got to say so far so good with it.
repurchase? i wish, but i've got the new stuff. [while we were on vacation, my aunt gave me her bottle since she can't use it with her dermatologist's prescription, so i've got more! yay!]
  • jergens bb body cream for light skintones -- i really enjoyed this. i liked the way it was lightly fragranced, the texture was just right for me, and it felt really long lasting and moisturizing. the tint was slight, but if you put clothes on before it dries, it will transfer.
    repurchase? yes
  • [not pictured] popsugar must have snacks by naturebox -- these were the yums! sadface that they're gone!
may/june
  • dr. bronner's pure castile soap in peppermint -- this is teh bombz at cleaning makeup brushes. cream or powder, it washes out like a charm. (can be found at target, bbb, whole foods)
repurchase? yes and their solid bars are great too
  • covergirl clump crusher mascara -- i opened this up in october i think? and it started drying up; it's probably about that time.. this mascara was ok. it doesn't clump if you layer it a bunch but it didn't do anything amazing for me.
repurchase? not for now, but maybe
  • armani eyes to kill mascara mini -- samples seem to last me for freaking ever. they're supposedly a two weeks supply, but i can get like a month or two's consistent use out of them...
repurchase? the full size is $30! maybe if i'm up for a nordstrom mascara sale. i've heard that the almay get up and grow & loreal voluminous full definition (gold tube) mascaras are dupes, and i don't totally remember if they were quite the same as this--i tried them both a few years ago.. but between those two, i prefer almay's formula
  • tree hut shea sugar scrub in almond & honey -- omg this scent is so good. for some reason i'm all about the almond oil scent. idk why. >.<
    repurchase? yes
  • sonia kashuk eye makeup remover -- this is amazing at getting off your waterproof eye makeup, of the other removers i've tried none have been as effective as this stuff. i don't totally like the packaging, or i just got a bad bottle, because whenever i'd shake it to mix it, it would leak around the cap. otherwise, great stuff!
    repurchase? yes
  • sephora daily makeup brush cleaner -- this stuff takes a few tries to get your brushes back to white again, sadly. but it is inexpensive and it works.
    repurchase? maybe
  • makeup forever instant brush cleanser -- this stuff is amazing, but it's in the most craptastic spray bottle known to man. and that's pretty bad when a sprayer cannot spray. otherwise, this stuff works great. it doesn't really have a scent, but the fumes are kind of strong so don't use too much all at once or you might start choking.. >.>
    repurchase? probably
  • essense nail art dry drops -- these are super inexpensive nail polish drying drops that are fairly effective.
    repurchase? yes!
  • simple cleansing facial wipes
  • clinique ddm gel
june
  • lypsyl lip balm -- a hollieeatslipstick suggestion, and i loved it!
repurchase? yes! but not just yet, i've got a few others to use up first. TT_TT
  • batiste dry shampoo mini -- while i liked this dry shampoo, it did come off white if i applied too much. i gave away the bottle of hint of dark brown because i didn't like the weird dark residue it left under my nails. i liked the pssst & herbal essences ones more.
    repurchase? probably not
  • aussie 3-minute miracle moist deep conditioner -- this is a really good, inexpensive deep conditioner--like $3? has a coconut-y, beachy type smell to it.
repurchase? yes but not for now, i have a bunch of others to use first
  • eva nyc therapy session hair mask -- this was better than expected. i do feel that cheaper hair masks are just as effective though. a tub of this is $15 at ulta (or less if you can get a deal on it), and pantene or ion deep conditioners are in the under $10 range.
    repurchase? maybe
  • urban decay b6 spray -- i brought this little guy with me while i was on vacation and it worked out great. being on the ship is similar to being on an airplane as far as the skin dryness. and i have combo skin, i don't know dry skin. and i had it. in conjunction with using my ddm gel more than twice a day, this helped my skin get back to its normal.
    repurchase? maybe
  • up&up makeup remover cloths -- my mom used to buy these when i was in high school. and i never ever thought that they were effective, but i bought this travel pack to bring with me on our vacation. then i decided that i should probably pack more than 17 wipes (including a different travel pack) and i brought a full size pack of simple wipes with me. so i've pretty much been using this for swatches. it gets most of them off, but some things will not remove with these wipes whatsoever. if you were to try these, they're better for light makeup, no waterproof, long-lasting, or heavy stuff.
    repurchase? no
  • simple cleansing wipes
  • [not pictured] lorac porefection face primer sample -- this primer was pretty good, it's silicon-y like i like my primers and it's actually a better value for the money than the too faced primer...i might be converting once i finish up my primed & poreless stash!
    repurchase? probably, but not yet.
  • [not pictured] bbw paris amour & twilight woods body wash minis, dark kiss body wash
  • [not pictured] too faced primed & poreless [original] face primer -- you guys know i love this stuff!
  • [not pictured] aveeno positively smooth shave gel -- i actually really like this. i do feel like it lives up to the "shave less often" claim and my legs felt smooth even after several days of growth after using this stuff.
    repurchase? already have!
  • [not pictured] gilette satin care with a touch of olay sensitive shave gel mini -- i brought this with me on the cruise to try it out and it was ok. it's on the same level as skintimate i think.
    repurchase? no
