hi all! my mother in law and i went to bbb several days ago and here's what i picked up! i got the maybelline baby skin instant pore eraser and revlon highlighting palette in rose glow. and here's my initial thoughts... ~Lindsay-chan ^.~
- pore eraser: this is a very silicone-y feeling product. it's clear, and has a similar feel (if not, more silicone-y feeling) to too faced original primed and poreless primer; which i know a large number people dislike that texture. i'm ok with this product (too faced's is my favorite if you're new to the blog..). i don't, however, feel that it's all that amazing at making my pores appear smaller on my face. swatched on my hand, kind of, but not my face. i don't feel like this was super amazing as a primer, though i'm not totally sure if that was the intention anyway. overall, i'm probably not going to pick up another after i use this up.
- highlighter: it's very glittery rather than shimmery. like i feel like there's distinct chunks of glitter on my face. i got this shade because i thought it might double as a blush..but it doesn't really. it really looks light like other highlighting powders on the cheeks. swatched on my hand (mixing the colors), it has a faint pinkness to it but that's kinda it. personally, i think this is something to pass on, mostly because of the glitter particles.
