life. (updated)

ever have those times where an awesome opportunity comes along and then something in life comes crashing down, making you unable to pursue said opportunity?
well that's how i feel, except...it's a short-term opportunity (a couple days) and my grandfather's brother lost his battle to mesothelioma earlier this week.

in short, i signed up to be an extra in a movie, and due to the funeral arrangements, i am in limbo about being able to work at the yet-to-be-determined time. and it'd be my first time as an extra. it frustrates me that i finally found some sort of temporary work (to earn a little bit of money) and now i might not be able to do it. and i mean, yes, i know that family comes first and i need to --and will-- attend the funeral, but it's all so very frustrating. ~L-c ^.~

edit: (2/25) they wrapped the scene on wednesday and scrapped friday. got called to come back and do a different scene though! yay!
