an early birthday outing!

hey guys! so since i signed up to be an extra again, i will be working on my birthday, boo. money, yay! anyway; so teh paul took me to BR cheesecake bistro and i got a croque madame. yummmmm! they busted my egg! *sadface* ... even bigger *sadface*: the NO cheesecake bistro doesn't even have comfort food on the menu!! hoity-toity "upscale" jerks; we were super disappointed a few weeks back when we went. then we shopped for a bit at the mall and went to bacio di roma for some gelato! we've never been before but we got a pint ($7) of white chocolate and strawberry. it was pretty good! we could have gone a little more on the strawberry than the white chocolate, which tasted like slightly-different-regular-chocolate..... ~Lin-chan ^.~

 

then for our shopping trip, we went to a few places, but the main mission was sephora--which, remind me next time to not bring teh paul along, he was upset at how much i spent... he did, however, hit the nail on the head: "i think makeup is more of a hobby for you; trying out new stuff," etc. ..glad that's clear. i apologize to those who need makeup/beauty products. i will say that i need products to contain my oily skin, but makeup is not a necessity to me. nor am i insecure about my facial appearance--just my acne scars on my back and shoulders, which no one really sees much anyway so it's not a big deal. lately, i've been wearing makeup daily to use up the multitude of products i have accumulated, or giving it away.

anyway! so i got a bottle of deslick for the movie--so hopefully this, in conjunction with some oil sheets, will help. then, i wanted yeyo (white UD pencil) for a while..i don't really know why..highlighting/brightening??? and then i got lip insurance because, between it and a couple other lip primers (UD and MAC), i liked this one the most. and finally, i used 100 sephora points for the tiny bottle of purity made simple.

no, i didn't get new sheets or whatever. there was a power outage at/by my apartment (for 6 hours!!!) and i hung out at paul's for a while..
