notd: holo comparison

hey guys! so today i used layla mermaid spell (4 coats) and opi ds sapphire (3 coats). do not ask why i decided to do two topcoats.. i just felt like it! opi goes on nice and smooth, applying like a regular polish. layla is another story. it's difficult to get full coverage with this polish because, depending on how you swipe the brush, you can wipe off or thin-out the polish you've applied--particularly in the area close to the cuticles. i usually do my left hand first because i'm right handed, so i learned a few things before doing the right hand. ^^; ~L-c ^.~
